Wow, so much as been going on I haven't made time to blog! So Here it all is in one big post!!
December-
We had a fun December! Quincee turned 12 and now is in Young Women's.. Its so sad to see her so grown up! We had an awesome Christmas. The kids got everything they asked for plus some! All I can say is that we are truly blessed :) We spent New Years at home with our little family. Watched movies and played games with Quincee and her BFF Brietta!
January-
Chad had his birthday on the 14th. He was stuck in Salt Lake for work so his friend took him to the Jazz game! I was a little jealous but was glad he had fun.. Riley also had his birthday on the 18th we had a family party for him and celebrated Chad and our cousin Katies birthday all together! I'm so glad that Riley doesn't mind sharing his special day with other members of the family!!
February-
I had my birthday.. It will be my last since I refuse to turn 30!! We planned a trip to California and took my mom with since she had never been before. We went to Disney Land for 3 days, Universal Studios and then spent a day exploring. We went and saw that Hollywood sign and walked the Hollywood walk of fame! Went to Santa Monica Pier and played at the beach and ate at the "bubba gump shrimp co." The food was so yummy! Then we drove down the coast to San Diego. We were suppose to go to Sea world but our trip there was canceled due to the Whale that had killed its trainer a few days before :( So we went to the San Diego Zoo instead! Although we didn't last to long there. We were all so exhausted from all the fun we had already had that we decided to take a break and left the zoo! We packed a lunch went to Target and got beach supplies and went and spent the day in the sand! The kids had SO much fun there, digging for sea shells and jumping waves. Even though the water was FREEZING!! Then that night we went to Old San Diego and ate some really good Mexican food! The next day we packed up and drove threw the rain for 4 hours and then got stuck in traffic for 2 just to get back to Utah and hit the snow!! We were sure glad to be home when we finally got here!!
March-
So far this month
Quincee- has joined Civil Air Patrol! Its a really cool program funded by the Air Force. This next Saturday the 27th she gets to fly a glider!! We are so excited to see her follow her dreams and learn and grow!
Riley- is now a Weblo scout. He is really enjoying going to scouts every week and play basketball every other free second he gets!
Payce- is going to sign up for gymnastics! We think he will really do well with this because he is so small and isn't scared of anything!
Saydee- is doing very well in school. Its almost her birthday and I can't believe she'll be 6!
Bronzely- has just been hanging out with me, playing with his best buddy Austen and going to pre-school twice a week!
Chad- is signing up for school at the end of this month to start in the fall. He is going to study Wildlife Science and hopefully get a job with the BLM. He is really excited!
Jeni- I've been working out like crazy! Doing some scrap booking but mostly just enjoying my kids and my life
I hope everyone is doing well and now is comforted knowing we haven't fallen off the earth!!

Thanksgiving.
This year we had Thanksgiving at our house.. Minus a few regulars. My little brother Matt and his girlfriend Alicia came and stayed. It was so fun to spend some time with them since we don't get to very often. They brought there kids Kayla (the dog) and Doobie (matts chamilion), they don't have any real kids!! They stayed for a few days. It was fun catching up and just hanging out! Chad's mom and brother came for dinner and the football game! It was a nice quiet day at home! I really enjoyed it.

Nothing much...
So, all of my children have come down with the dreaded flu... No NOT the oink oink swine flu just the plain old flu... I have kept them all home from school since Tuesday.. Its been a lot of fun let me tell ya! Over the course of the last few days my kids have been pretty funny! Maybe its because they are confined to the house and delirious!
Tuesday- Saydee says, "Mom are you making bread?" Me- "yes i am" Saydee- "is it yummy" Me- sarcastically "No its going to be yucky" Saydee- "you mean like grandmas?" I seriously could not stop laughing!! She is so clever sometimes!
Wednesday I walk in my kitchen to find my sweet little boy on the floor with the biggest pot he could possibly find. The contents consist of about half a gallon of milk, 3/4 bag of cereal (and I don't buy the small bag) 2 sticks of butter, about 6-8 eggs and there shells cracked open of course, some flour because you always need flour, some cheese, I'd say about 1/2 pound. Luckily we had used most of it! I say "holy cow what are you doing?" He says "I'n cookin somethin" I say "what?" He says "its for the witches mom!"
Awe how can you even be mad at that!! He's so funny!! I don't know what I'm going to do when they all grow up!

Pumpkins for Halloween!

We took the kids to the pumpkin patch yesterday for family night!! The kids all got to pick their own and they loved it! Last Friday I went with Saydee on her field trip to the pumpkin patch so we decided that we better bring everyone back to pick one too!! We got there a little later than planned so we didn't get to stay to long since I gets dark so dang fast! We got to ride out into the field on a hay wagon and go threw the fields.. We got big and little pumpkins, a few white ones and 2 gourds! The kids can't wait to carve their pumpkins and I can't wait to do it again next year!

Cutting down trees!!

We went and got fire wood with dad this last Saturday. Chad got a new chain saw and got to break it in! He had fun cutting a few smaller dead trees down but, dad cut down a pretty big one! It was fun to watch. The clean up afterwards wasn't as fun but we were glad to be able to get fire wood so we can stay warm this coming winter! Next year we won't wait until the wood cutting season is almost over! Thanks for your help Dad!
Cove Fort with the 2nd graders!

We had a lot of fun at Cove Fort last week! The weather was so nice, it was a great day for a field trip! I rode their with a few of the ladies from our ward since they didn't have enough bus space to let the parents ride. In fact they were lucky to get a field trip this year due to there small budget. We were really glad to be able to go. Each group had a guide through the different areas of the grounds.. We saw the barn first and then the blacksmith shop. The Blacksmith shop was the most interesting to the boys! We saw how they used to catch mice in one of the cabins and then watched a movie about when and why the fort was built! Then we got to go through the Fort. Since there were 7 2ND grade classes and about 25 kids in each class we didn't have as much time as we would have liked to have to see all of the rooms of the fort. Even though we were short with time the guides did a very good job to tell us what each room was and explain a few of the items in them and who used to stay in them. We are hoping to plan a family day to go and spend more time at the fort and learn more about its history!
