Camping continued.......

Our fun soon ended...... Saturday evening my brother had his little bbq briquet stove out to make hot dogs for the kids.... The charcoal didn't seem to be lit so he added some more fuel to it.... It exploded out and Bronzely was standing way to close... The flames burnt his little face and caught to the sweater he was wearing. He was so scared of course he ran. Luckily we got him, got the fire out before it did anymore damage and he was okay. Thankfully he had a t-shirt on under his sweater so his chest wasn't burned at all. We took him to the hospital and had him all check out they were only 1st and some 2nd degree burns. Nothing that would scar... He is totally horrified of fire now but, who could blame him.. All in all it was a good learning experience.. We now know that you shouldn't add more fuel to the flame! Almost 3 months later Bronzely looks as good as new. You can't even tell where the burns were unless you know were to look and you have to look hard! We love our little guy and are so glad that he is okay!
